Evidence Essentials: Issues for Criminal Law

Developed in consultation with Kate Offer (Co-author of Western Australian Evidence Law), the sessions provide a baseline understanding generally and then focus on specific issues for different areas of law. Consideration is paid to state and uniform evidence laws, working through application of rules, objects, common mistakes, and more.

Their Honours Judge Craig Astill and Judge Mara Barone (both District Court of Western Australia) will consider recent developments in evidence in criminal law, including skills in examining evidence.
